I was going to make a Scrambled Tofu, and it turned into a Tofu-Vegy Stir-Fry…. 🙂
It doesn’t really matter does it…. either way, it tasted delicious, scrumptious! Ate that with Bread by Ed, and later, I’ll whip up some rice, and eat the rest with that! 🙂
I cut up an onion, 2 cloves of garlic (would have used more, like 4 or 5, but my son doesn’t like it too garlicy), a green onion, 2 celery stalks, an orange pepper, and 2 tomatoes, and had them sauting in my wok with a little soy sauce, water, tomato paste, lemon juice, and balsamic reduction. (Of course, you can add whatever you want.) In another pan, I sauteed up my block of Tofu (firm) which I cut up into little cubes with a little water, a little soya sauce and balsamic reduction. I just kept watching both the pan and the wok, so not to burn anything. I kept stirring the tofu so they were nicely browned on all sides! When the Tofu was ready, I added them to my wok of vegys…..
This is a quick, nutritious meal for the day, or a snack, if you have a growing, bodybuilding young man of 16 in the house!
